On the sunny and easy slopes of the Val D'Elsa valley, not far from Siena and San Giminiano, we have restored some old stone houses by using the language of colours and the energy of natural materials.
We have decided to live here with some friends and to offer hospitality to the lovers of nature. This place, infact, is rich in fragrances, silences and rainbows.
We have five rooms, each one with private bathroom, and a complete separeted flat, an area for relaxation and health care and a beatiful swimming pool.
Our holiday-house is the ideal place where to spend a beautiful holiday and to plunge into the peace and harmony of the place.
Who we are: Renzo e Manuela
We met twelve years ago,attracted by our passion for the spiritual growth and for the pleasures of good food.
Both of us have a lot of experience in this field, Renzo has run a restaurant and Bodhi an inn and since we met we have played with cooking in many different situations such as vegetarian cooking, international kitchen in a cafe in Arizona, catering in Saredenia in summer.
Finally we have discovered this place which responds perfectly to what we need and want.
We love to be with people and share good food and good wines but also we love to meditate and to enjoy silence and after so many experiences we try now to bring all this in our daily life.
We have become organic farmers, we cultivate the fields that surroud our houses, we have fertilized it and taken good care of a hundred old olive trees and we have planted more than a thousand new ones.
In November we pick our own olives by hand with the help of some friends and we press them as soon as possible in order to obtain a very good and fragrant oil and very healthy too.
We have also planted a hundred fruit trees all belonging to ancient varieties, redescovering them and saving them from disappearing.
Soon we will have our fruits to serve fresh and also to make jams.
We are also planning to have an organic vegetable garden for fresh vegetables to prepare your dinners.
We are cooking our own bread in an old oven placed out the main house.
We are also available to share our secrets and knowledge with our guests, offering cooking courses.
As you can see we are full of ideas and enthousiasm and totally ready to satisfy the desires of the people wanting to come and be with us. |
