In Tuscany, in the heart of High Maremma and more exactly in the town of Sorano (Grosseto) a place whose history is lost in the times, full of etruscans and Romanic evidences, enviable for culture and surroundings at the hight of 460 meters above sea level stands the "Terme di Sorano".
On a surface of about 67000 square meters of which about 30000 square meters are green natural woods around the thousand-year-old Pieve di S. Maria dell'Aquila.
The village is composed of 30 apartments four of which constitute the historical site and 10 villas.
Harmonically integrated in the surrounding panorama of woods, grazing lands, and cultivated fields.
A few kilometres away the beautiful little towns of Sorano, Pitigliano, Saturnia and Scansano considerated jewels of the Maremma Grossetana.
Each apartment has its own spacious porch and/or garden and the choice is based on the different possibilities of arrangements depending on the needs of each guest.
Nicely furnished in Tuscany style, provided with spacious and comfortable rooms, they offer the opportunity to spend a vacation in relax and well-being, immerse in the green and the quietness typical of the Tuscany countryside.
The apartments and villas have well equipped kitchens, one bathroom for each bedroom, orthopaedic mattresses and wooden nets, large rooms, single unit heating systems, double glass windows, satellite TV, large terraces and solarium with wooden furniture outside.
Linen is included in the prices while cleaning is not; it's possible to have more frequent cleaning service on request.
Inside the Village its possible to enjoy many services, all finalized to guarantee a Vacation away from stress and chaotic life.
Guest can have at their disposal: a thermal swimming pool furnished with two water falls under which can enjoy natural idromassages with waters that flow out from natural Springs at 37 Celsius, there is also a children's area and another sportive swimming pool.
Around the pools there is a large equipped area for sun beds and umbrellas to satisfy the needs of everybody.
Who chooses the Terme di Sorano to spend their holidays together with friends or family will find a comfortable and relaxing environment, as well as the romantic couple will enjoy a discrete and romantic place.
Thermal waters are composed of magnesium, calcium and zinc and flow out at the temperature of 37,5 degrees celsius and have therapeutic uses in artroreumatic vascular and dermatological affections through the bathing and mud therapy.

800 meters away there is a horse riding school.
It is possible to organize excursions and guided visits to the next by etruscan necropolis, drive along the roads of taste and the roads of wine, walk through the ancient roads of the cities of tufa (Sovana, Sorano and Pitigliano).
Close by the territory offers many possibilities as going to the seaside (argentario) less than one hour ride, while lake of Bolsena and Mount Amiata can be reached within half an hour.
