An island of tranquillity
Farm Holidays Accommodations Tuscany Cortona. Ca de Carlicchi is a lovingly restored farmhouse in Tuscany, bordering Umbria; far from mass tourism, but near beautiful old towns, we offer warm Italian hospitality with the possibility of individual arrangements for your holidays. We think that quiet and nature are the starting points to find the well-being of body and soul, especially in a world where the old virtue of "being idle" is apparently forgotten.
Our three houses, made of grey Pietra Serena, have been renovated respecting the rules of "green" architecture; we left the old wood beams, the walls were painted with water colors. The houses are furnished in a cosy yet practical way that expresses our wish to create a "home away from home" for our guests. Electricity and warm water are generated through our solar cells.
A source in the valley provides water for our pool; we add salt to be able to diminish the amount of chlorine. That slightly salty water is silky and leaves a great feeling of well-being.
Two years ago our old sheep shed was renovated and divided into two parts. In the first one we created a wonderful, warmly painted therapy room with feng-shui baseboards, wooden floors, stereo equipment as well as floor mats, pillows and blankets. In the garden you'll find a beautiful meditation meadow - in short, the ideal place to pamper yourself. Treat yourself to a relaxing Ayurveda massage with perfumed oils or a guided meditation, to discover the silence in your heart.
The second part is called "La Musica della Natura" and offers a rehearsal and recording studio for all those whose love in life is music.
We also welcome therapeutic and music groups. Please contact us for individual offers!
Our guests are also invited to share the fresh vegetables from our vegetable garden. With prior reservation we serve lunch or dinner and vegetarian meals.
From time to time we offer wellness weekends with differents themes which are organized by professional therapists.

It is solar panelled, centrally heated and boasts two furnished terraces and parking facilities. |
